About Us
Our comprehensive, unique approach to puppy rearing sends home loving, operant "genius" puppies
We, Deb and Carl Ward, are Crossroads Canines. All of our puppies are raised in our home, with plenty of love, attention and care. We believe in incorporating Puppy Culture, AKC Confident Puppy and Badass Breeder protocols, working to raise puppies who will grow into confident, stable, and resilient adult dogs, able to handle the stresses and challenges of a modern lifestyle.
Deb is a Certified Dog Trainer and as owner/operator of Cedarburg Pet Care offers doggie daycare, boarding, puppy and shy dog curriculums. With education in breeding systems, selection, genetic defects, health and nutritional influences on reproduction Deb is uniquely qualified in the arena of dog breeding. This education and experience allows us to offer puppy socialization and training programs and Deb continues building her breeding and training skills daily. Crossroads is an AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. Breeder and registered Good Dog Breeder.
Family Involvement means well socialized pups!
Our children, grandchildren, current and past puppy owners regularly assist in a variety of litter exposure and socialization activities.
Annual Crossroads Reunions are fun and informative!
We thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to host annual reunions for our Crossroads families. These events as well as our Facebook owners group are great resources and allow us to maintain life long contact with our owners and puppies
